Carl V. B. Jeppe ( 1949 - ) schooled at St.John’s College, Johannesburg. Studied Fine Arts at Technikon Pretoria. Worked at Performing Arts Council Transvaal as a property maker. Taught drawing and painting at Art Studios Pretoria. First solo exhibition at the Association of Arts, Pretoria, Old Nedbank building, Church Square, in 1976. Crake Gallery, 1978. “Women 2005” at Sandton Convention Centre. ABSA Gallery, 2008. Caster Bridge Gallery, White River, 2008. “Studio Raid” exhibition at the Arts Association in 2011. “Nothing cast in stone” exhibition at the UJ Gallery in 2016 and art Lovers 1932 in 2017. Solo at Art Lovers 1932 and had work at the 2017 Turbine Art Fair. Arts Association Gallery, Mackie Street, Pretoria in October 2021, and in the Galerie Chaton in May 2022. Judged at Several art Competitions. Involved in the design of three numismatic coin sets produced by the South African Mint, as well as designing the new 10-cent circulation coin featuring the Cape Honey Bee, released in May 2023. Also serves on the Design Advisory Committee for the S.A.Mint.
