Taisto Martiskainen (January 26, 1943 Suojärvi – August 21, 1982 Leppävirta) was a Finnish sculptor who also created monumental works. He studied at the Vocational School of Art and Design from 1959 to 1960 and at the School of the Finnish Academy of Arts from 1960 to 1963. In the early 1960s he was a student of Wäinö Aaltonen. As an 18-year-old sculpture student, he won his first public sculpture competition with his work Kiikkujat, unveiled in 1964.
