In 1903, coins were minted for both this type and KM# 52. They can be distinguished by the size of the digits in the date. This is the "small date" type, and the hole inside the '0' will be more squared off compared to the longer, oval shape in KM# 52.

Coins with date 1901 and designer initials A.M. are considered trial strikes, which you find N#195556

Schön# 18 includes both KM# 48 and KM# 52.
