The inscription on the reverse is a citation from the Bible, Book of Exodus 15:2: "Fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus et factus est mihi in salutem iste Deus meus et glorificabo eum Deus patris mei et exaltabo eum" (The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him).
